H.M. Brown & Associates is an automobile brokerage firm founded in 1986 by General Manager, Bud Brown. H.M. Brown & Associates has been built one customer at a time. In 1985, after graduating from college (and after a short stint with General Electric), Bud followed his lifelong passion for automobiles and began working at a Colorado franchised automobile dealer. While Bud enjoyed the interaction with his customers and selling automobiles, he thoroughly detested the selling process used by the dealership. There had to be a better way! In May 1986, Bud left the dealership to begin an automobile brokerage firm, a new concept in 1986 that would ultimately set the standard for customer treatment in the automobile business. Today, more than 85 quality employees share H.M. Brown's vision and commitment of offering individuals and businesses the best way to buy or lease any vehicle. Since our inception, we are proud to have completed more than 94,450 automobile transactions with 93% of our business coming from referrals and repeat business. Our customers span the United States (49 States), the District of Columbia, and live in more than seven foreign countries.
